    RYMANS have a similar product but the plastic does not have the features of the products purchased from Paperchase.

Wool purchase is likely to be more fruitful when collected from a retailer with a large selection.

Basic Materials and Tools.

- Pompom discs either handmade or commercially purchased in 3 sizes small measuring 2 cm, medium 3.5 cm and large 5.5 cm.
- Wool in any variation of blend or style content.

- Craft/sewing needles, various sewing/embroidery thread.

- Sharp fine embroidery scissors for trimming, shaping and carving pom definition.- Utility scissors used for cutting cardboard and pipe cleaner wire.


- Needle nose pliers or tweezers used for curling pipe cleaner wire.



- Cut-able transparent or opaque plastic sheets for fairy and creature wings. Use stationary file folder plastic or re-cycled packaging. Plastic sheets needs to be rigid enough not to bend or crease out of shape. Plastic blank stencil sheets are an ideal material to use for creating wing shapes.
